How we are governed

Windarring is an Incorporated Association, governed by a voluntary 11 member Committee of Management (COM) operating under recently amended Model Rules. Six of the eleven members must be service users or their parents usually with a background to support the governance of the Association. The COM meets monthly and sets the Strategic Direction, monitors finances, ensures compliance with government requirements and that the organisation has robust risk management and quality systems.

The Chief Executive Officer is Chris O'Connor who administers the organisation on behalf of the COM.

Windarring has a budget of approximately $3.8mil made up of service user's funding packages, business income, grants and donations.

The organisation has full Charitable Status.
